The Life of the Human Shoulder

Did you know...

The human shoulder tends to only last for about 40 years before it starts to show signs of wear and tear? In fact, one 2004 study found that up to 60% of people will experience shoulder pain at some point in their life. An ultrasound study conducted on 51 men aged between 40-70 with NO SHOULDER SYMPTOMS showed 96% of them had some degree of moderate to severe shoulder pathology! This was most often in the form of joint or tendon degeneration - they just didn't know it!

Luckily, Osteopathy has been proven to help with joint pains, arthritic pain and shoulder pain arising from associated musculoskeletal conditions of the back and neck. For more info please visit
